Colorado Police Search for Driver Who Intentionally Hit Pedestrian After Being Told to Slow Down

Thornton police are searching for a suspect involved in intentionally striking a pedestrian earlier this month. The incident occurred around 7:35 p.m. on September 13 in the 12600 block of York Street, near Eastlake Montessori School.

According to investigators, the pedestrian yelled at the driver of a 1997 black Honda Civic to slow down as it sped past. Authorities believe the driver then turned the vehicle around and deliberately hit the pedestrian, resulting in serious injuries.

The Civic has a Colorado license plate ODS-232 and a Brian Crower Engine Internals window sticker. Anyone with information about the vehicle or driver is urged to contact 911 or the Thornton Police Department tip line at 720.977.5069.
